The Third Half Club is an organization established in1939 by sports minded people who freely devote their time, energy and ingenuity toward supporting Nutley High School and community athletic programs.  The preparation and sale of the Nutley High School football booster program is the backbone of our financial support.  These funds, along with those raised from our other projects, enable us to support the following activities:

- Third Half Club Senior Awards Dinner honoring graduating student athletes and students involved in related activities.

- Third Half Club Scholarship Program awarded to deserving student athletes since 1971.

​

- Third Half Club sponsors Nutley Recreation Basketball and Little Leage Baseball Teams.

- Third Half Club presents the championship banners that hang in the Nutley High School Gymnasium.

- Third Half Club organizes and conducts the Sam Battaglia Memorial Basketball Tournament for 5th & 6th grade students in our elementary schools.

- Third Half Club instituted the Nutley High School Athletic Hall of Fame.  This was established to honor Nutley High School Athletes who have gained recognition on the playing field.
