The Third Half Club is an organization established in 1939, by sports minded men who freely devote their time, energy and ingenuity toward supporting Nutley High School and community athletic programs.  The preparation and sale of the Nutley High School football program is the backbone of our financial support.  These funds, along with those raised from our other projects, enables us to support the following activities over the years:

- Third Half Club Senior Awards Dinner honors graduating student athletes and students involved in related activities.

- Third Half Club Scholarship Program has awarded to deserving student athletes since 1971.

- Third Half Club sponsors Nutley Recreation Basketball and Little Leage Baseball Teams.

- Third Half Club presents championship banners which hang in the Nutley High School Gymnasium.

- Third Half Club organizes and conducts the John H. Walker Basketball Tournament for 5th & 6th Grade in our elementary schools.

- Third Half Club instituted the Nutley High School Athletic Hall of Fame.  This was established to honor Nutley High School Athletes who have gained recognition on the playing field.
